How it works

From solicitation to delivery

Every build-to-print order follows the same path: engineering review before the quote, and verified documentation before shipment.

  1. 01

    Review the TDP

Drawings, specs, revision levels, and inspection and packaging requirements are reviewed by an engineer before pricing.

  2. 02

    Match & quote

The job is matched to a vetted US partner shop suited to the material and process, and a clear quote is returned.

  3. 03

    Oversee production

An engineering point of contact stays with the job through manufacturing and raises questions early.

  4. 04

    Inspect & verify

Dimensional inspection, first-article when required, and certs checked against the contract.

  5. 05

    Pack, mark & ship

Packaged and marked per MIL-STD-2073 and MIL-STD-129 as the contract specifies, then delivered.

Quality approach

Oversight by engineers, not just order-takers

Quality is built into the process from the first drawing review, not checked once at the end.

Drawing & GD&T review

Requirements, tolerances, and datums are read and clarified before any work is quoted or released.

Dimensional inspection

Parts are checked against the drawing, and results are recorded before shipment.

First-article inspection

First-article work is coordinated and documented when the contract calls for it.

Certs & traceability

Material certifications and production records are collected and tied to each order.

AS9100-trained oversight

Quality oversight is led by an engineer trained as an AS9100 / AS13100 lead auditor.

Packaging & marking

Preservation, packaging, and marking to MIL-STD-2073 and MIL-STD-129 as required.

AS9100 / AS13100 lead auditor training is an individual qualification. Magdalena Industrial LLC does not currently hold an AS9100 certificate.
